Martyr Mohammed Ahmad Al-Jamla

Mohammed Ahmad Al-Jamla was a kind, gentle, and well-mannered young man, loved by everyone who knew him. He was known for his good character, warm heart, and humble spirit.
Mohammed worked in tailoring and clothing sales to earn his daily living, striving with dignity to support himself and build a future.
His Work with the Palestinian Cultural Palace
Mohammed worked with the Palestinian Cultural Palace for seven years (2017–2023). During this time, he was not only a dedicated worker but also a Dabke trainer, deeply loved by children.
He participated in many distinguished artistic activities, including the annual Spring of Peace Festival, leaving a lasting impact through his passion and commitment to cultural expression.
His Dreams
Mohammed had great ambition. He dreamed of participating in international festivals and representing his culture on a global stage.
The Moment of Martyrdom
Mohammed was martyred while passing through a road during the incursion into the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, after being struck by tank shell fragments.
His body remained in the street for three days, with no information about his fate. When his family finally found him, they were only able to recognize him with difficulty.
A Heartbreaking Farewell
His father and brothers described him as “an angel lying peacefully”, with his blood still flowing, as if he had not been gone for three days.
They said that his body had not changed, as though time itself had paused around him.
